EC BID have sponsored a week-long series of free guided tours of the 12th Edition of Sculpture in the City to coincide with London Sculpture Weekan initiative celebrating sculpture in the capital’s public realm, taking place from 16 – 24 September 2023, alongside SculptureFest taking place on 16 September 2023.

A collaboration between Sculpture in the City, Frieze SculptureThe Line and the Mayor of London’s Fourth Plinth Programme, London Sculpture Week – which launched to acclaim in 2022, returns this year. The shared ambition of each of these programmes is to elevate London’s public art offering and to bring contemporary sculpture to the widest possible audience. Held in key locations across the capital – The Regent’s Park, Trafalgar Square, East London’s The Line (which runs from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to The 02 in North Greenwich), and the City of London – London Sculpture Week presents the cultural possibilities of London’s public and outdoor spaces, and further establishes the city’s status as a world-leading capital of culture.

To coincide with London Sculpture Week, Sculpture in the City will offer free guided walking tours to encourage the public to come, explore and enjoy the wide scope of artworks that make up the 12th Edition.  Offering tours led by City of London guides and a British Sign Language guide, this is an unmissable opportunity to discover this year’s collection of artworks, discovering world-class public art across the City of London’s iconic urban and architectural landscape.
