EC BID Women’s History Walking Tour

Celebrate International Women’s Day by joining our walking tour about Women’s History in the Eastern Cluster

A guided walk in the Eastern Quarter of the Square Mile. An introduction and celebration of women across the ages from fishwives to queens.

We’ll hear the stories and experiences of female pioneers, campaigners, writers and more who left their mark in this part of the City. Come and remember them.

About the guide:

Louise arrived in London via Spain and Greece and worked in publishing and then the entertainment industry. Fully qualified full of interesting tales of the glorious City of London. She delights in helping people discover new things and uncover new aspects of places they already know.

Louise is Deputy Events Coordinator at St Paul’s Cathedral, chairs the City of London Guide Lecturers’ Association (City Guides) and is a Freeman of the City of London.

Meeting Point: The Monument

  • End Point: The Leadenhall Market
  • The guide will be wearing a red bowler hat and a City of London Guides Badge
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the event start time.
  • Please note that you are not required to stay for the entire walk. If you need to leave earlier, please just let the guide know.
