Eastern City Cluster Walking Tour

May 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Join our free Eastern City Walking Tour

A fascinating insight to a place where Roman walls, medieval architecture, social history and 17th century churches, rub shoulders with the buzz of the 21st century.

A City rich in history, the walk takes you from “whatever did the Romans do for us??”, onwards through defining political, social and architectural developments, to the City of London that we know today.

Join us from Fish Street Hill in the south through the markets and alleyways to The City’s historic nucleus and financial centre.

About the guide:

Mario Beneventi is a fully qualified City of London Guide, and committee member who supports the coordination of some of the City of London Guides’ work, as well as run his own Guiding business.

London born, he is the son of a seamstress and cafe bar “counter attendant” exposed to the rich and diverse culture of London from an early age. A passion for history and London refreshes his love of The City, leading diverse, informed and fun walks through the known and lesser known sights, streets, alleyways and aspects of this great city.
