Unwind in the City with Broadworks
We are delighted be supporting Broadworks to launch Unwind in the City – a summer programme of wellbeing events.
Unwind in the City is free to all and will offer 8 weeks of music over July and August, movement classes, performances, live music, art exhibitions and children’s art workshops, inviting all visitors, spectators and attendees to prioritise their wellbeing this summer.
August programme highlights include:
Closing party – Thursday 29 August
Celebrate the conclusion of our summer programme, Unwind in the City, with a grand finale featuring live music and vibrant art! The event will take place on our summer-ified terrace, showcasing Hazel Mead’s bold and colorful site-specific mural. The evening’s musical lineup includes the enchanting steel pan sounds of Stephen Dapaah, the soothing and jazzy tunes of Buoy Meets Krill, and dynamic DJ sets from Guohan and Lakumer. Guohan, a DJ with roots in Ningbo and Nottingham, brings a blend of organic grooves and global influences, while Lakumer, influenced by the 90s skateboard scene and electronic music from Cambridge, offers eclectic beats. This finale promises a lively celebration with plenty of opportunities to dance and enjoy inspiring music.

Hive Curates are pleased to present a solo exhibition of Sarah Needham’s work, including the travelling commission ‘100 Names’, new work from the ‘Earth Beneath Her Feet’ collection, and an earth pigment workshop.
