London Festival of Architecture Walking Tours

We’re thrilled to be partnering with London Festival of Architecture on a series of free guided walking tours across the Eastern City.

This autumn discover some of the most iconic buildings in the Eastern City with qualified City of London’s tour guides, Paul Lincoln and Caroline Dale.

Over the past forty years the Eastern City has become home to some of the most distinctive architecture in London. A district known for its financial services, the Eastern City is also home to exciting new landscape developments, public art commissions, eating out and entertainment.

The City of London is a uniquely rich mix of ancient and modern. Its archaeological layers are a mix of Roman, Saxon, Medieval and the ash of the Great Fire of London in 1666. The ancient walls have contained the City throughout its history so that today it remains an eminently walkable place.

The walks will take place on the following days and times:

  • Saturday, 8 October at 11am

The meeting point for both tours will be on the corner of Leadenhall Street and St Mary Axe in the public gardens. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
